Candy Twist: Scrap Fabric Garland Holiday Craft Class (Free Family Event)
Welcome, Families and Young Makers!
Join us at Thrifty Bootique for Candy Twist: Scrap Fabric Garland Holiday Craft Class, the third free workshop in our Crafting Christmas: Handmade Holiday Series! This fun and colorful holiday event is perfect for families with children of all ages—kids in first grade and up can participate hands-on, with adults helping younger makers finish their garlands.
Saturday, December 13th | 10 am–1 pm
Create bright, cheerful “candy” garlands using upcycled fabric scraps, string, and simple knotting techniques. Our friendly instructors will teach you step by step, making it easy for children to tie and wrap fabric, with grown-ups lending assistance where needed. Drop in anytime during class hours and get creative with an array of colorful, sustainable materials.
• All supplies provided—just bring your holiday spirit!
• Drop in anytime between 10 am and 1 pm
• No experience necessary—everyone can contribute
• Kids will especially enjoy wrapping fabric and seeing their garland come together piece by piece. This is a perfect take-home and finish project, too!
