Journey into a Storybook Forest – Family Crafting Fun!

Bring your imagination and your family to Thrifty Bootique’s Storybook Forest: Magazine Trees Holiday Craft Class—the second free workshop in our Crafting Christmas: Handmade Holiday Series. This hands-on session transforms discarded magazines and books into whimsical, upcycled holiday trees, perfect for adding festive flair to your home or giving as heartfelt, handmade gifts!

Saturday, December 6th | 10 am–1 pm

Families, kids (third grade and up), and crafty adults will love this relaxing, creative class. Younger children are welcome with parent help—plus, our friendly instructors will guide everyone through each step of the folding process. The basic folding technique is easy to learn, but building your full tree takes a little time, making this a perfect project to start in class and finish at home.

  • All supplies provided—just bring your holiday spirit!

  • Drop in anytime between 10 am and 1 pm

  • No experience needed—everyone succeeds!

  • Take-home and finish project option

Making Magazine Trees – Easy and Fun!

Our instructor will help you get started, explain the folding process, and answer any questions along the way. You’re invited to keep working in the studio or take your project home to finish at your own pace. Every tree is truly one-of-a-kind!
